| hey hey hey. why did i decide to update this? not sure probably just don't want to go to studio that i should have already left for about... 20minutes ago.
soooo. my path so far: home to berkeley, to sfo, to chicago, to frankfurt, to bergamo. then milan, venice, vienna, berlin annnnnnd now copenhagen.
I really enjoyed Venice and Vienna, they are incredible places-- or especially incredible people we met there. Me and my people have met so many wonderful people, it's as if you haven't really travelled until you've travelled without your parents. I will be posting pictures up on facebook soon....
So far studying abroad is an insanely good experience. Meeting people that I would never have met in the states, it is incredible, I love it. I also love noticing the subtler differences between the home and here is nice too, for example the other day I saw a squirrel and it was red whereas berkeley squirrels are brown... okay maybe not the best thing ever but, I don't know-- I (personally) get a kick out of those little things. We've seen some really good sites too, some architecture, churches, ate regional meals, drank a little here a little there. I was a bit homesick but now I'm better, who knows maybe it's just cause studio hasn't really started yet (ew studio). My floormates are really great and they love drinking in the kitchen, new kiddos at DIS are funny and interesting/talented in different ways, and the people I travelled with-- of course are my family (and had to dealt with the... travelling lesley who gets cranky at times hehe)
next time i'll try to be a little more articulate (ha) but i'm in a rush <3 and happy belated 7-7-7 you can ignore the text under the dashes, it might bore you-- cause you haven't met them... but I HAVE hehe <3
-------------------------------------- some people we've/ i've met along the way and what i would say to them now or short description:
Anabelle (frankfurt, germany) thanks for the suggestion of radler! Tom (ireland) hiooooooooo! Jason (england) keep singing "opera" in pidgeon! Elika (canada...hehe) the girl with the secret love for "umbrella"s ella ella eh eh.... Alessio (venice, italy)and company have fun with those asian languages! Bella and Joseph thanks for the "hip hop" club and hope you are enjoying the hostel breakfasts! Elika's distant cousin in berlin: very cool website! if you all want to check it out its: neon-love.com
a couple nights ago we met a guy at a local bar who really likes crocodiles. interesting fact huh? hehe Just a couple minutes ago I met some girls from Latvia who are staying with a friend on my floor, they are really cool, I learned about the clubs in Rega and that they are in a hospitality club-- haha and one of them (Austra-- I think that's how you spell it) is the second person I have introduced to facebook this trip muahaha.

| yay i got a hoola hoop. it's hard getting it to go.... it takes skill
and a whole lotta luck. what i need to do this summer:
make a skirt
read the da vinci code
read the chronicles of narnia
read angels and demons
earn money
sleep/eat/draw/play tennis and golf/play with kitties/hang out with friends and family/laugh/have fun
you know why i grouped the last thing together? cause i know those
things will happen and the other things... ahhh those are always my
goals but i never get to them.
for those of you still in school- the majority - i hope you're savoring
your time with your roommates/floormates/suitemates what have you cause
it's precious. i cried the day i left and people laughed in a nice
way... hehe oh well i just get sentimental. i knew they were crying and
not laughing at me in the inside tho.
studying is a poo but hey the harder you work the more rewarded you
will feel of course easier said than done because face it-- it's me who
is writing. honestly i will tell those of you who care about it (by the
way i am referencing finals and big projects and whatnot) in
person because the paranoid gal i am- i still want
recommendations from the gsi's i had and who knows if one day they are
really bored and happen to stumble upon this.
joy and lynn hope you guys did well and hey it's over now! yay we gotta hang this summer!!!
dont worry elaine im saving plenty o' crazy fo you. i will never run
out -- you hear that people I WILL NEVER RUN OUT OF CRAZY. and
that's a fact.
